About Rebel Rebel
Welcome to Rebel Rebel — your new favorite neighborhood hangout, tucked right here in Colorado Springs.
We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel. We just want to make you feel at home — the kind of place where you have your seat and your drink, where the bartender knows your name, and you instantly feel like the coolest person in the room (because, let’s be honest, you are).
The Spirit behind the name
Originally, we were going to call it Slow Rebel — a nod to resisting the chaos of modern life through slowing down, savoring the moment, and reclaiming your time. That idea still drives us, but when the name “Rebel Rebel” came up, it just clicked.
It’s a wink to the pageantry and freedom of 70’s music — and of course, a tribute to David Bowie, the ultimate icon of individuality.
We’re rebels, sure — but the kind that do it with warmth, wit, and a perfectly balanced cocktail in hand.
the People
We’re here for the freaks and geeks, oddballs and outcasts, trendsetters and cool kids — but mostly, we’re here for our neighbors, our family, and our friends.
Hospitality for us means humility, care, and attention to detail. The second you walk through the door, you’re not just a guest — you’re part of our story.
We believe in being nice, being humble, being creative — and, as Jacob says, “just shut up and make the damn drink.”
tHE fUTURE
We don’t dream of franchises or chains. Our goal is simpler — to become a staple in Colorado Springs.
Five years from now, we hope people don’t call it “Jacob’s bar.”
We hope they call it their bar.
The Vibe
It’s all about the vibes.
Groovy records spinning on the turntable, warm and cozy corners to settle into, cold beer that hits just right, and fun cocktails with classic, nostalgic flavors. We’ve got the kind of snacks that make you say, “Oh man, I haven’t had this in years.”
The space is inspired by grandma’s basement meets 1970s rock ‘n’ roll — layered textures, warm colors, and a little bit of that lived-in magic. The vinyl collection and old-school hi-fi gear aren’t just décor — they’re part of the heartbeat here
our Story
Rebel Rebel is the brainchild of Jacob Pfund, a familiar name in the Colorado Springs bar scene. Jacob has spent over a decade working behind and opening bars like Edelweiss, Principal’s Office, Axe and the Oak, The Archives, District Elleven, Colorado Craft, and Nova West — just to name a few.
This place started as a dream (and maybe a little bit of friendly defiance). Years ago, a manager once told Jacob he didn’t know what he was doing because there wasn’t enough ice floating on a Manhattan. That moment lit a fire. He spent the next ten years working at as many bars as he could, learning every detail of the craft until the stars finally aligned to open Rebel Rebel.
With the help of investor Sally, the support of mentors, and the sweat of friends and family, Rebel Rebel came to life — naturally, but not without a lot of hard work.
community
Rebel Rebel isn’t trying to be exclusive — we’re trying to be essential.
We’re here to give the neighborhood another great spot to unwind, to connect, and to celebrate life’s little rebellions. You can expect collaborations, pop-ups, and plenty of events along the way — we’re just getting started.
Because everyone’s a rebel in their own way. Now, there’s finally a place where you can celebrate it.
